Description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Behavioral Health are seeking a clinical psychologist to join their growing program. Applicants should have an interest in both community and academic based clinical psychology practice.
The successful applicant will have a community-based outpatient focus in Washington, NC. Additionally, academic based psychology care will be provided at the system’s nearby academic medical center located in Greenville, NC and will include inpatient, outpatient, and tele psychiatry services as needed.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) from an accredited program in clinical counseling from an APA accredited program and have completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology.
Job Highlights:
- Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical care
- Hyrbid role providing care in Washington, NC 3 days per week and in nearby Greenville, NC 2 days per week
- Established Behavioral Health practices inclusive of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and strong support staff including RNs, LPNs, and LCSWs
- Schedule includes 8a – 5p, no call
- Responsibilities will include direct patient care, collaboration behavioral health teams, evidence-based psychosocial programming, and training to ensure appropriate intervention for patients
- Provide diagnostic testing as clinically indicated including testing for ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Provide leadership and oversight for group-based interventions and individual-based psychotherapy using evidence-based techniques
