Partnered with a reputable hospital less than 30 minutes from Seattle, Washington, with an exclusive opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts
• Monthly Volume: 180-200 deliveries
• Duties: GYN consults for the main ED, OB triage, unassigned L&D patients and inpatients, and family medicine backup
• Support Staff: OBGYNs, a midwife, and in-house anesthesia
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Rate: $200 per hour

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Internal Medicine Washington state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as OB Hospitalist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
