Description: Collaborating with a reputable medical center 20 minutes outside of Sacramento, California, with an opening for a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide overnight locum coverage.Opening Overview:
- Flexible Schedule: 12a-8a
- No call or weekends
- Setting: Remote or onsite
- Case Volume: 150-200 x-rays, or 20-25 US and 25-30 CT/MRs
- Case Types: MR, CT, US, and x-ray; ED and inpatient cases
- EMR: Cerner
- Dictation: Nuance PowerScribe 360
- PACS: Merge PACS
- Workstation provided if remote
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered RAD (Radiology) California state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as a Radiologist
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
