Collaborating with a facility in western Idaho with an opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Level II trauma
• Shifts: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
• Schedule: 5 to 6-day blocks twice per month
• Average Daily Census: 3 consults, 2 procedures
• Setting: Inpatient
• Facility: 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 CMU beds
• Duties: Interventional cardiology procedures, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUS, IFR, and TEE preferred
• Support Staff: APPs
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Interventional Cardiologist Idaho state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an Interventional Cardiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
