Partnered with a hospital in eastern Pennsylvania that has an opening for a Pediatric Neurologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Call shifts required
• Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
• Duties: Overnight and weekend call, inpatient consults, new and follow-up office visits, Epic inbox messaging, and other standard outpatient work
• EEG interpretation preferred
• Support Staff: Nurses, office staff
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, catch a hockey game or live concert at a downtown arena, walk along a picturesque riverside greenway, and visit an art museum renowned for its rotating contemporary exhibits.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Pediatric Neurologist Internal Medicine Pennsylvania state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Pediatric Neurologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
