- Midwifery Faculty/Open Rank - NTT
Description
The School of Nursing is seeking non-tenured track faculty in nurse-midwifery to support our academic practice partnerships as aligned with our strategic plan as well as teach within the Advanced Nursing Practice and/or Entry to Baccalaureate Nursing Practice Divisions. The successful candidate will become a valued faculty member of the Division of Advanced Nursing Practice with primary responsibilities of leading academic practice partnerships through clinical midwifery practice, clinical teaching and precepting, supporting the development and coordination of clinical sites for student placements, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses focused on midwifery, reproductive health, and scholarly project facilitation.

Requirements
- DNP, PhD, or other doctorate degree (doctorate in progress may be considered)
Eligibility for appointment at least at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor non-tenured track - Outstanding writing skills
- Experience with in-person and online teaching
- Ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Interest and demonstrated expertise in teaching identified courses that complement the programs of study at the School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (or willing to acquire NJ RN license) is preferred but not required. For non-nurse applicants, familiarity with advanced practice nursing and healthcare highly desirable
